Dr. J. Allen Hynek on the Cash-Landrum UFO case

Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Speaking on the Cash-Landrum UFO Close Encounter of the Second Kind

“Something sure as hell happened..."

Dr. Hynek, as seen in Spielberg's CE3K

Dr. J. Allen Hynek was only indirectly involved with the Cash-Landrum case, but he knew it well. From the beginning, John F. Schuessler was sending copies of his Project VISIT reports to Hynek’s Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS). In April 1981, Dr. Hynek’s protege, Allan Hendry, (CUFOS’ chief investigator) was contracted by the Fund for UFO Research (FUFOR) to investigate the incident. Further, Schuessler made his first lecture on the case at Hynek’s CUFOS symposium in September 1981. While Hynek himself did not investigate the case, he was very familiar with it.

In 1981, just as the news of the Cash-Landrum story was spreading through mainstream media, Dr. Hynek was contacted by a Texas newspaper, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times for his comments on the case.
Corpus Christi Caller-Times September 13, 1981 p. 1A
Dr. J. Allen Hynek, founder of the Center for UFO Studies in Evanston, Ill., and the country's premier UFO investigator, termed the Dayton incident a “really crucial case,” because of the “absolutely unequivocal physical effects.”

“Something sure as hell happened: Those women didn’t pull out their hair and blind themselves," said Hynek. "The connection with the event is clear-cut. It's one-to-one. We have other cases, but rarely as clear-cut as this.”
“We are dealing with a real event , but we’re not sure if it’s a government exercise or a UFO sighting," said Hynek, who headed Project Blue Book, a U.S. Air Force study of UFOs from about 1948 to 1969. "There’s a lot of secret stuff going on that most people don’t know about.”

Hynek believes the women should file a lawsuit to compel disclosure.

OMNI Magazine Interview with Dr. J. Allen Hynek

The year before he died, Dr. Hynek was interviewed at length by Pamela Weintraub of OMNI magazine, it appeared in the February 1985 issue. A number of UFO cases were discussed, and in a rather surprising way, the conversation turned to the Cash-Landrum case.
Dr. Hynek. Portrait from OMNI magazine
Omni: ... close encounters of the third kind might be anybody's fantasy.
Hynek: I can't disagree. That's why I'd like to focus most of my new research on close encounters of the second kind, where there are actual physical marks. -Perhaps a foreign consciousness is creating not just illusions but the real ship and the-real creatures as well. If they weren't physical creations, they couldn't leave traces. That's the importance of the close encounter of the second kind. Let us suppose that a very, very advanced civilization has, as a part of its everyday technology, the ability to project a thought form that, like a holographic image, temporarily assumes three-dimensional reality. This is just speculation of the wildest sort, but if the UFO phenomenon is doing anything, it's causing us to expand our imagination, to make us aware that this nice, cozy world we live in is only the world we see around us, not the sum total of our environment.
Omni: Are there any close encounters of the second kind that you feel would particularly help to reveal this broader reality?
Hynek: I'd like to get to the bottom of the Cash/Landrum affair. The story there concerns Betty Cash, Vicki Landrum. and Vicki's grandson Colby The three were coming back from a Bingo game when they saw a glowing triangle spewing flames above them in the sky. They stopped the car to watch the thing, and as it moved off, they reportedly saw about twenty-three helicopters escorting it out. After they got home there were all sorts of physiological effects: Their eyes swelled, their hair fell out, they developed blisters, they were nauseated and weak. The event completely altered their lives.
Omni: What do you think was at the root?
Hynek: My best guess is that they were exposed to some kind of microwave radiation.

Space-shuttle engineer John Schuessler, who's investigating the case, is veering toward the idea that the three were exposed to a government device escorted by twenty-three helicopters, He's even helped Betty, Vicki, and Colby to institute a lawsuit against the government. But there's another side of all this: Where would twenty-three helicopters come from? First of all, it was Christmas week, and people at the bases said they would never conduct military exercises at a time like that.
Omni: Certainly you can't be suggesting the possibility of twenty-three extraterrestrial helicopters?
Hynek: No, that's preposterous. But perhaps Cash and the Landrums saw a holographic image of the helicopters. I could buy that more than I buy twenty-three solid, physical helicopters from some unknown base, when no baseman will admit seeing so many helicopters of that particular kind.
Omni: Yet I really think that we're obliged to  consider the fact that some of these sightings are due to government craft. Recently, James E. Oberg traced many reports to secret Soviet satellite launchings.
Hynek: Today, of course, such technology may account for many reports. From 1947 through 1955, however, almost none of the maneuvers ascribed to UFOs could have been duplicated with human technology. And even today, our technology can duplicate only part of the phenomenon. We still don't have craft that can hover and then take off at fantastic speed.
Omni: As far as you know. But the government has been implicated in other ways as well. A group known as CAUS [Citizens Against UFO Secrecy] claims that the government has been orchestrating a massive cover-up of UFO information. They've recently invoked the Freedom of Information Act to obtain classified information. Have they found anything, and do you believe there's a government cover-up?
Hynek: What can be covered up? You can cover up ignorance, embarrassment, sinister political acts. I myself don't see real evidence for a diabolical, Machiavellian cover-up. I do perceive a strong reluctance to share information with the public.

University Study of NASA Data Finds Flowing Water On Mars

Researchers at the University of Arizona in Tucson have discovered what they believe to be flowing water near the equator of Mars. How did we miss it until now? The water seems to only flow seasonally.
Alfred McEwan of the University of Arizona in Tucson published these findings in the journal Nature Geoscience.

The abstract of McEwan’s analysis states that, “The presence of liquid water is a requirement of habitability on a planet. Possible indicators of liquid surface water on Mars include intermittent flow-like features observed on sloping terrains.
The researchers said that a pattern of flowing and freezing water seemed to lengthen over time during the warmer seasons, and faded, apparently do to freezing at certain points, during the colder seasons.

The study was based upon data from NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Originally they had drawn on a system of canyons near the slop lineae in the southern mid-latitudes of Mars in 2011, but this most recent study draws on 12 sites near the equator.

The study was inconclusive as to the origins of the water flow, and concludes that “Although the origin of the recurring slope lineae remains an open question, our observations are consistent with intermittent flow of briny water. Such an origin suggests surprisingly abundant liquid water in some near-surface equatorial regions of Mars.”

McEwan suspects the source is subterranean. For this reason, he speculates that we have it all wrong in looking for life on the surface of the red planet. “The subsurface is probably the best place to find present-day life if it exists at all because it is protected from the radiation and temperature extremes,” he said.

The image below shows McEwan’s map, from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, of the confirmed locations of dark streaks, or recurring slope lineae.

McEwan, as well as Josh Rummel, the head of the Committee on Space Research’s, COSPAR, panel on planetary protection, are due to present the report to COSPAR next August.

By Susan Duclos

A helicopter pilot in Alaska sends pictures in to Coast to Coast AM, the original and the enhanced close up are both below with his descripton of events as the unfolded.

UFO squadron photographed from our helicopter over Brooks Mountain Range Alaska, about 70 miles north of Bettles, Alaska on return flight from the Arctic. We were flying on a heading of due south and the unidentified craft were on a northerly heading. Was the only shot I was able to get, they moved behind us at a very high rate of speed. This was taken in October 2013. You can definitely make out the lenticular shaped craft when I enhanced the photograph, I am a pilot with 33 years experience and this was the first time I’ve seen a UFO and just happened to be a total of 8 unidentified craft. They do exist!

Mexican Government Releases Mayan Relics Proving Extraterrestrial Contact

Friday, November 22, 2013 21:48

WoW! Mexican Government Releases Mayan Relics Proving Extraterrestrial Contact!?!

For those who still had doubts in regards to extraterrestrial contact with our ancient civilizations, this time could not be more clear! The Mexican government has struck a blow in the hidden history of mankind. In the archeology section forgotten the country publicly unveil a series of pieces Mayas discovered there about 80 years by a team of National Institute of Anthropoly and History (INAH) on the site of Calakmul , Mexico.

These exceptional pieces have been presented last year and will be the subject of a documentary to be released this fall and will be produced by Raul Julia-Levy and directed by Juan Carlos Rulfo , the winner of the 2006 Sundance festival with his film ” in the pit. “ This documentary examines the provisional name “Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and beyond.”

Mayans had Alien Contact! New reavalations

Intelligentextraterrestrial beings have visited Earth in antiquity or prehistory and made contact with humans. Proponents suggest that this contact influenced the development of human cultures, technologies, and religions. A common variant of the idea is that deities from most, if not all, religions are actually extraterrestrials, and their advanced technologies were wrongly understood by primitive men as evidence of their divine status.

Mayan UFO Alien Connection (UFOs, Sightings, Ancient Mayans) Must See!

Did the Mayans Experience Alien Contact in Ancient Mexico?

In September of 2011, filmmaker Juan Carlos Rulfo announced that he was producing the documentary Mayans 2012 and Beyond, due to be released in 2012, just in time for the end of the Mayan calendar.  MORE HERE

Mayan city of Calakmul, Campeche

Calakmul (which also spells Kalakmul , as well as other less common variants) is the modern name of one of the oldest and most powerful cities Mayan discoveries in the lowlands  . It is located on the 180 000 km 2 of the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve in the Mexican state of Campeche , deep in the jungle of Big Basin region of Petén , in the center of the Yucatán Peninsula , 35 km north of the border ofGuatemala . In ancient times the heart of the city was known by the name of Ox Te ‘tuun 3 .

This powerful Mayan city was inhabited for more than a millennium before being swallowed by the jungle after its abandonment. At its peak, Calakmul administered a large domain marked by the widespread inclusion of its emblem glyph , which is characterized by the sign of the snake head  which read Kaan  .Calakmul was the seat of what was called the Kingdom of the Serpent  . The Kingdom of the Serpent ruled as Tikal , during the greater part of the classical period . It is estimated that Calakmul itself had a population of 50,000 people and controlled localities located at a distance of up to 150 km 2 .

New Artefacts proves alien contact with Mayas

There are 6,750 ancient structures identified at Calakmul, the largest of which is the great pyramid site.Structure 2 is over 45 meters high, making it one of the highest pyramid of the Mayan civilization. Four tombs were located in the pyramid.Like many temples or pyramids of Mesoamerica , the pyramid at Calakmul has grown based on the existing temple to reach its current size . The area of the central monument of Maya architecture is about 2 km 2 and the whole site covered essentially a dense residential housing, is about 20 km 2 .

Rediscovered by aerial exploration by biologist Cyrus Longworth Lundell of the Mexican operating Chicle Company on 29 December 1931 , its existence was reported to Sylvanus Morley of the Carnegie Institute at Chichen Itza in March 1932 . According to Lundell, who named the site, ”” ca “in Maya means” two “,” lak “means” next “and” mul “means a hill or artificial pyramid, so ‘Calakmul’ is the “city of two adjacent pyramids” “ .

Did the Mayans Experience Alien Contact in Ancient Mexico?

By Ryan Dube | 07/16/13

mayan alien contact

In September of 2011, filmmaker Juan Carlos Rulfo announced that he was producing the documentary Mayans 2012 and Beyond, due to be released in 2012, just in time for the end of the Mayan calendar.
Juan claimed that Mexico would be releasing “codices, artifacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact”. He went on to explain that all of their information would be fully corroborated by archaeologists. (1)

At the time, the minister of tourism for the Mexican state of Compeche, Luis Augusto Garcia Rosado, supported Juan’s claim by announcing that contact between the Mayans and extraterrestrials was supported by proof in the form of “certain codices, which the government has kept secure in underground vaults for some time”. The minister of tourism told journalists that there were actually landing pads located in the middle of the jungles of Mexico.

Did Juan’s documentary – complete with all of this amazing evidence – ever materialize in 2012? Did the evidence prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ancient Mayans came in contact with extraterrestrial beings from outer space?

These are the questions that I’ll be exploring and answering in this article.

Empty Promises of Extraterrestrial Evidence

I’ve been involved in exploring claims like these for almost a decade now, and the most common pattern these stories follow are always the same. A filmmaker or an author makes extraordinary claims about what amazing evidence is going to be revealed. The claims produce much fanfare and, such as in the case of Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond, plenty of mainstream news coverage.

Countless mainstream media sources jumped on the press release distributed by the filmmaker, including Reuters, the Guardian, and even NBC News. These are all outlets that should have journalists intelligent enough to perform due diligence on the producer. They didn’t.
Countless Ufology sites jumped all over the claims – dreaming about what evidence might be revealed in the documentary.

That’s to be expected, but to see mainstream journalists announce the claim in 2011, and then never follow up on those claims to see what became of them – that’s disappointing.

The best attempt came from NBC News, where Benjamin Radford aptly wrote:
“History is full of promised earth-shaking revelations that didn’t pan out, including the discovery of Noah’s Ark (claimed to have been found in 1973, 1993, 2006, 2010, etc.); the discovery of a Bigfoot body (in 2008); and discovery of proof that the 1947 Roswell crash was real (found in April 2011). Each of these claims came and went, and it seems likely that this latest proof of Mayan/extraterrestrial contact will be added to the list.” (2)

Claims Fall Apart Amid Legal Troubles

After all of the hype had died down by May of 2012, the problems started. The executive producer of the film allegedly packed the two dozen hard drives and ten computer systems, and left Mexico. (3)
Producer Julia Levy made all sorts of claims against Thieriot, including that the Mexican attorney general had issued an order to Thieriot and her supporters to return the footage to Mexico. He told a reporter at The Wrap that an archaeologist at the Mexico National Institute of Anthropology and History, issued a letter to Thieriot, warning her that:
“The use of all footage in both the archeological zones in Calakmul and in the Island of Jaina is unauthorized… cannot be used and is to be returned immediately.” (3)
The situation left followers wondering whether the footage – and the alleged evidence – would ever see the light of day.

Thieriot sued The Wrap for publishing the claims, and then a month later, Julia-Levy issued even more public claims against her, stating he had sued Thieriot in a Mexico court, and that she owed him $500,000 for the film. According to Julia-Levy, Thieriot had actually allegedly transferred $70,000 from the production company’s account to her own bank account, before she “absconded” with the footage.

Arbitration Reveals Truth About Alien-Mayan Claims

If the courts are the barometer for truth, then Elisabeth Thieriot won a boost of credibility early in 2013 when, in January, the International Film and Television Association (IFTA) arbitration board ruled in favor of Thieriot. The arbitrator determined that it was Julia Levy who was the fraud after all, and stated in its findings:
“…for breaching material obligations of the Operating Agreement, for fraudulently inducing Thieriot to enter into the Operating Agreement, for continuing to defraud Thieriot throughout the production of the documentary and for Levy breaching his fiduciary duties owed to Thieriot.”
The arbitrator found that the Mexican Government was not investigating Thieriot, that there was no such case against Thieriot in the First District Court of the State of Campeche, Mexico, and that the statement from the Mexico National Institute of Anthropology and History had never been made. (5)

Thieriot was thrilled, and issued a press release stating:
“These rulings prove that I was the innocent victim of fraud. My reputation has finally been restored and Mr. Levy’s deceit has finally been exposed and proven.”
Her win was the final nail in the documentary’s coffin. If Levy’s credibility was so poor from the start, and since he was the original producer of the film itself, the credibility of the documentary and its claims is called into question by these findings.

Remember, those early claims in 2011 were made in large part by Julia-Levy, including alleged statements from Mexican officials about alleged alien artifacts. If he could lie so easy about official statements regarding the Thieriot case, then how likely is it that Julia-Levy was telling the truth about those claims in 2011?

mayan alien contact

Well, Thieriot herself offers the final words about Julia-Levy’s early claims – which, remember, the mainstream media had run with.
In her write-up, Thieriot openly admits that the preproduction of the film revealed that there was no evidence at all for the previous claims in 2011 that the ancient Mayans had made contact with E.T. On her site Thieriot wrote:
“The result of preproduction came up empty handed for proof of these claims.” (6)
Today, Thieriot offers an entirely different documentary than the one that was first promised by Julia-Levy. This one offers nothing about so-called alien contact with the ancient Mayans.

Instead, Thieriot plans to take the audience along on the wild ride that she faced when coming in contact with the fraud known as Julia-Levy. While the documentary won’t feature alleged alien artifacts and “shocking” documents showing a treaty between aliens and ancient Mayans, it will feature something that every researcher or journalist should see.

She will show how convincing con-artists can be, how alien-related money-making schemes like Levy’s are usually run, and why researchers and journalists should be a little more diligent with their research before publishing the extraordinary claims of people like this.

Obama Becomes First President to Confirm Existence of Area 51

obama51

I have to be honest, I’m hardly convinced that Area 51 is a bastion of extraterrestrial anything. But with that said, there are a lot of pretty strange testimonies from government employees and contractors who have worked there. Everyone knows the place exists, and the same employees and contractors have confirmed it is a real facility. These confirmations have come even while the position of the United States government was historically to deny the existence of the installation altogether. What’s gone on there? I couldn’t say. But by 2013, no one but the U.S. government was still denying its existence.
That policy of outright denial changed this past August when the CIA nonchalantly admitted the existence of the base, stating that it had been used as a secret air craft testing site. This seemed to give the green light to a presidential acknowledgement of the facility. In the past this was an off-limits subject… even as a joke.

Last Sunday, however, at the annual Kennedy Center Honors reception President Obama said that the this focal point of so many conspiracy theories is something that all presidents are asked about almost immediately after taking office.
“When you first become president, one of the questions that people ask you is, ‘What’s really going on in Area 51?’” Obama said to laughter at White House event.

“When I wanted to know, I’d call Shirley MacLaine.”

The audience approvingly laughed, but interestingly, in making the joke, Obama confirmed the base’s existence.

The Oscar-winning actress Shirley MacLaine, for her part, had claimed to have  seen UFOs and extraterrestrial beings. From the sound of things, she had asked the president about the base at some point before the event began.

Whether he realized the historical nature of his confirmation in advance or not, Obama commented on it, saying “I think I just became the first president to ever publicly mention Area 51. How’s that, Shirley?”
apparently nodding to the off-stage discussion between the two.

Regardless of what one thinks about the nature of UFO sightings, or extraterrestrial this-and-that, it is clear that something is going on at the facility. Moreover, by the CIA’s own admission, something had been going on all along, even while the government denied the facility even existed. Whatever that something is, the government seems to be opening up about it, a little at a time…

Why now? Could there by more that they haven’t revealed? Those are questions that remain to be answered.

THE REAL 4400

UFO-DATA.CO.UK

THE REAL 4400

9pm – Sky One (UK) Wednesday 19th October 2005

A mere six days after Channel 4 aired UFOs: The Secret Evidence, the UK’s top digital channel, Sky One broadcast The Real 4400. The programme’s blurb maintained that this documentary about alien abduction was produced to accompany Sky’s showing of the hit US TV show, The 4400, but aside from a quick mention at the beginning and the actual name of the programme, the fictional series was never referenced.

Here we had a forty-five minute documentary devoted to alien abduction and, to be honest, it was very well made. It was beautifully photographed and scored and all sides of the debate were given ample opportunity to air their views.

We started off with a brief overview of the phenomenon, with the narrator, Sean Pertwee, telling us about ‘missing time’ and several experts such as Chris French, Bud Hopkins and Nick Pope popping in a couple of soundbites.

Then we got into the meat of the programme, with Travis Walton, the Arizona woodcutter who was abducted for five days in 1975, making it quite clear that he wished that his experience had never happened to him. He said that claims that he had made up the story for monetary gain were spurious, as the financial gains from a book and Hollywood movie (Fire in the Sky) were essentially negative. Assertions that he was in it for the fame were countered by Walton with him saying that he was accused at first of avoiding the media spotlight and then when he did give interviews, he was accused of being a publicity seeker, so he couldn’t win! Given what his life had been like since that night, Walton said that he wouldn’t have told anybody about his experience. He just wanted to get on with his life.

After the obligatory inclusion of a few clips from 1950s B-movies pouring ridicule on the subject, we were told that while the scientific community held no interest in the phenomenon, a few academics were trying to get to the bottom of the mystery.

With that declaration, up popped Professor Chris French, hailed as Europe’s leading scientific abduction researcher. With the customary, patronising attitude from many in academic circles, French explained that abductees were not ‘mad’, they were simply suffering from a complex psychological delusion.

Bud Hopkins, ‘the Godfather of the abduction movement’, maintained that the phenomenon was real and that it was not psychological.

Nick Pope, former head of the British Ministry of Defence’s UFO desk, said that he had investigated about a hundred claims of alien abduction. He was satisfied that some sort of real occurrences were going on.

Michael Carter, an American hospital chaplain, claimed to have been visited by aliens, who sat on the end of his bed whilst illuminating his room ‘like it was daytime’. He felt physical effects such as temperature changes during his experience and to this day, he sleeps with the light on.

No program about abductions would be complete without bringing up the sleep paralysis chestnut, and Dr Chris Idzikowski performed his allotted role with aplomb, explaining to us befuddled masses that it’s all in our heads. When sleep paralysis kicks in, we wake up, but cannot move, our heart rate increases, so we think we’re going to die (!), we suffer from auditory and visual hallucinations and, basically, we’re awake, but still dreaming. Of course, Chris French agreed with him.
Professor David Jacobs said that of the 900+ cases that he had investigated, about half of those occurred while the victim was wide awake.

Next, a British case, that occurred only three months before the
program aired, was explored. A Lancashire family, Rachel Devereaux, Anne, her mother, and Rachel’s two sons were driving home from a local Little Chef restaurant when suddenly a bright light appeared before them. The light was compelling and soothing. It washed them with feelings of love and all the family members said that they wanted to go into it. When it was gone, they all felt a feeling of great loss.

A journey that should have taken twenty minutes lasted for an hour and twenty minutes.

Later in the programme, Rachel underwent hypnotic regression and recounted what happened to her family, describing the bright light and little beings that floated around. Her sons were laughing. Then she felt fear for her children, but a voice told her that they were in no danger. The hypnotist, Steve Burgess, felt that what she had recalled were memories of actual events. While recounting their experiences, both Rachel and Anne were moved to tears.

With this in mind, it was argued that hypnosis can insert false memories into our minds and Chris French gave an amusing story about showing a subject a fictional photograph of a balloon ride during their childhood. He claimed that ‘a sizeable majority’ of people would integrate this false memory into their real memories, completely unaware that it was an event that had never taken place. David Jacobs countered this by explaining that, although memory is not infallible, we tend not to forget major incidents that happen to us. If we did, our judicial systems would collapse.

Sceptics argue that there is no good evidence to prove researchers’ claims of alien abduction. Enter the implantees!

A French air traffic controller, Eric Julien, a man who’s job entails working under great stress and making extremely important decisions in terms of air safety every day, believed he had been abducted by aliens and that they had placed something beneath his skin behind his left ear. He said that he once saw an object on his radar screen moving from east to west at 28,000 kilometres per hour.
A visit to a Harley Street doctor and an ultrasound and x-ray scan later, he was told in no uncertain terms that his implant was nothing more than a sebaceous cyst. Eric was not satisfied with this diagnosis and asked how a rectangular ‘cyst’ could move twelve millimetres in six months!

Bud Hopkins displayed many photographs of abductees showing what are termed ‘scoop marks’. These are, sometimes quite large, indentations in the skin that are said to most closely resemble punctures from biopsies. Hopkins suggests that these marks are where aliens take DNA samples from their victims.

Tracy Taylor claimed that she had been abducted since childhood and became concerned that she might be losing her mind. After a battery of tests by psychologists and doctors, she was given the all clear and told, as the experiences were not negative, to get on with her life. She channelled her experiences into art and we were shown many of her impressive paintings and drawings, including one that depicted strange writing that she said linguists had believed was related to Egyptian hieroglyphics and ancient Sumerian.

Tracy said that her artistic style changed radically after her experiences and it was asserted that many abductees claimed to have returned with special ‘gifts’, such as psychic powers, healing abilities or messages for the good of the world. Of course, academia says that no evidence of this has ever been produced under controlled conditions.

Dr Roger Leir, an American podiatrist, has removed many objects from his patients that he claims are possible alien implants. Using the resources of the National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS), he had some of the implants tested at Los Alamos National Science Laboratory and New Mexico Tech. The samples were found to contain materials that are normally found only in meteorites.

Despite video evidence of Leir sealing his specimens in front of witnesses and not telling the labs of the origins of the samples, academics made the claim that his research is faulty and open to tampering and/or fraud!

Chris French popped up again and said that if implants were found to be made from materials not normally found on Earth, that this would be a tremendous, scientific breakthrough. Erm, Chris, if you’re reading this, look up a couple of paragraphs. Leir’s samples were found to be made from materials not normally found on Earth. Of course, this doesn’t stop the ‘experts’ from sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting: “La La Laaa!”, does it?

The programme draws to a close with academia saying that the evidence does not exist, while researchers say that science is misinterpreting the data. Personally, I think they just ignore the evidence in UFO cases, especially the evidence that cannot be easily dismissed.

Dr Brian Cox was brought in to explain that theoretical physics is entering a new golden age, where the promise of multiple dimensions, beyond the four we know about, wormhole travel and even time travel are all becoming theoretical possibilities. This begs the question, of course, that if we, with our relatively new understanding of science and the universe, are just starting to get to grips with this, what about alien civilisations hundreds or thousands of years in advance of us? It makes you think…

So, what are we to make of this programme, the second major UFO-related documentary in the space of a single week?

It is clear that there is still a yawning gap between the sceptics (or open disbelievers) and the believers. My own view is that the term ‘believer’ is used far too often by sceptics as a form of insult. I view the subject from a sceptical viewpoint and there’s nothing wrong with that. Healthy scepticism is good. I like to look at it like this:

People who have not undergone an abduction experience, but are interested in the phenomenon, should be sceptical. Of course, there are always going to be some who fully believe what the abductees are saying, but that is not the same as saying that you are a believer, as in the same way as one might believe in God, say.

People who have witnessed a UFO or have been subjected to alien abduction are not believers in my view. They are knowers! They know that something happened to them. They know that there is ‘something else’ out there. They have no reason to believe because they know!

Again, we have been shown that interest in UFO phenomena is far from waning. If anything, it is gathering pace. The Real 4400 showed that a serious documentary can be made about the subject and rather than poo-pooing the evidence, the producers allowed everybody to have their say, which can only be a good thing.

Like UFOs: The Secret Evidence, this documentary was aired with little fanfare, however. I only caught it because it was on directly after Stargate: Atlantis (I own up, I’m a sci-fi nerd!), so the potential audience, had the show been more rigorously advertised, could have been much higher than I suspect the figures will reflect.

I wonder if this trend of UFO programmes will continue. I certainly hope so!

The two different sides in UFOlogy: Can it ever be resolved through disclosure?

UFO Disclosure: Is It Something To Look Forward?

UFO Disclosure: Is It Something To Look Forward?

UFO believers are convinced that disclosure will surely happen sooner or later. But many ordinary people around the world wonder why disclosure still did not happen in an age when information is very hard to keep secret for long.

In the era of WikiLeaks wherein even top secret information is being leaked, no leak about UFO has been mentioned. Does UFOs exist or they’re just more distant than generally thought.

WikiLeaks has featured leaked documents from Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning but nothing about UFOs. The Guardian is also silent about the subject.

Some would ask why no UFO documents were leaked if there was any solid information about the subject. Perhaps, the nature of UFO contact is not physical or not documentary.

There are two different sides in UFOlogy and the following explain these two in details:

They believe about angelic and demonic contact. They also believe about fairies and ghosts. Notable people who categorically belong to this group include Carl Jung, Jacques Vallee, Whitey Strieber and Tau Allen Greenfield. As of now, no one could convince the general public about the existence of UFOs but it seems that many are convinced on the supernatural than extra-terrestrial when it comes to UFO subject as many experience sleep paralysis and leaving their physical bodies, which are scientifically accepted condition that science could not give one unanimous explanation of their causes. Amazing enhanced human perception abilities are emerging, say researchers

The emerging awareness in many segments of society about what is sometimes called "anomalous cognition" is an interesting development that seems to hold much promise.
In fact, knowledge about this topic seems to be spreading throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Anomalous cognition is a term that refers to various kinds of human perception which can be highly effective and useful in a wide range of endeavors and activities.

Included under this umbrella term are several human perceptual abilities and skills. These include, but are not limited to:

- Enhanced intuition and instincts
- Increased awareness of one's surroundings and environment
- Improved insight into challenges and solutions
- Acquisition of information and understanding about remote situations

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines "anomalous" as "inconsistent with or deviating from what is usual, normal, or expected - irregular, unusual - of uncertain nature or classification marked by incongruity or contradiction - paradoxical."

"Cognition" is defined as "to become acquainted with, know - to come to know - cognitive mental processes - a product of these processes."

We may soon need to change the word "anomalous" when referring to enhanced human intelligence of this kind, because it may no longer be "unusual."

It may become very normal and routine for all of us.

In fact, it may be very useful to expand communication and education about research findings in this area as far and wide as possible, and in a timely manner.

RECENT AND CURRENT RESEARCH

Advanced research sponsored by our military and intelligence community, as well as universities and private research entities, has discovered that many, most or all people have the ability to use their "cognition," their mind and awareness, to perceive and understand things in a much more interesting way than previously recognized.
At the same time, average people around the world are doing their own research because each of us has the working tools to investigate anomalous cognition: Our brains, minds, bodies, and, some say, our hearts, spirits and souls.

The technique called "remote viewing" is one of the most common examples.

Remote viewing is a concept jointly developed by the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the CIA and private sector researchers during the 1970s, 80s and 90s.

Remote viewing is a particular set of methods that allow individuals to tap into enhanced and advanced perception.

This has proven to be a useful intelligence-gathering tool. Other applications have also been researched.

Anomalous cognition and remote viewing can provide insight about our daily thoughts and feelings as well as previously unknown information - even information that provides insight about situations that are outside of normal understanding about time and space.

It is believed that the nature of quantum physics is such that, in some ways, things like anomalous cognition and remote viewing make perfect sense. They are normal and natural. They are part of Nature.

Many average people now read books, take classes and watch video presentations about remote viewing. And, many people find that their intuition, dreams and sensitivity to information bubbling up from their unconscious can be very valuable and helpful.

Professional research into these kinds of human abilities and perception is very useful and seems to dovetail with other accepted aspects of psychology studies.

As in some conventional psychology theories, our unconscious mind is believed to be a great problem solver, when given the opportunity. In addition, our individual minds may be connected to a larger unified consciousness.

Some people theorize that there is a "higher consciousness" with profound spiritual and religious implications.

Remote viewing techniques also recognize that one element of success in these efforts is allowing the unconscious mind to work. Then, information from the unconscious is allowed to surface consciously where it can be accurately interpreted and applied to practical matters.

This, of course, is what many modern researchers have tried to establish: That clear evidence can be demonstrated indicating anomalous cognition of various kinds can provide accurate and useful information and insight.

Have they established this? It seems that they have.

10 Future Predictions by Diane Tessman

Diane Tessman's picture
During my eleven years of public school teaching, I also pursued field investigation with MUFON and the Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization (APRO). I was meticulously scientific in my investigations; however like so many investigators, I was also driven to look into the UFO phenomenon for some hidden personal reason which I did not understand at that time. After undergoing hypnosis with Dr. R. Leo Sprinkle, I remembered a UFO encounter when I was a child in North Iowa. I realized consciously that I "shared consciousness" with a UFO being who calls himself Tibus. This line of communication had always been there but I had not dared to recognize it.   For 30 years now, Tibus and I have warned of climate change which brings torrential rains and  super-storms; these events are just now becoming painfully apparent. Another example: Tibus has been adamant about not using nuclear power, "because accidents will happen." Now we have Fukashima.

I have written 5 books as well as writing 2 monthly publications, with predictions and insights into Earth's upheavals and changes. As you can see from the Ten Predictions below, Tibus' messages involve logical outcomes rather than conventional psychic information which is not, by definition, based in logic. If you continue to mistreat your environment, this will happen."  This is the crux of Tibus and many other alien beings' warnings and messages. Perhaps receiving a message from a UFO being is not always flakey or crazy, although the media tends to portray it this way. Perhaps it is a method, an attempt, to open humankind's eyes to the plight of its planet which is a crisis almost entirely caused by humankind.

10 Future Predictions by Diane Tessman:

Introduction::

How can anyone predict the future when quantum physics confirms for us that there are an infinite number of alternate realities? Tibus has taught me that there are certain over-riding events which happen in almost every branch reality. These events are the movers and shakers of Earth's history in every time line. In my precognitive work, it is these over-riding ("umbrella") events on which I place the most emphasis.

You will not see a prediction here about the success a Hollywood starlet's rehab or a British royal's choice of tiara. The Change Point is approaching for the Planet Earth, an intersecting moment in space/time in which every one of us will be deeply involved and affected. Each planet which has a dominant, sentient species like Homo sapiens, reaches a pivotal moment in its history when this species threatens to destroy the higher life forms on the planet through its own greed, and selfishness. Today, we see higher life forms such as lions, tigers, whales, sharks, elephants, and an endless list of others, in danger of untimely extinction because of humankind's cruelty and lack of empathy.

Yes, Planet Earth is in the throes of her Change Times; in this violent process, Homo sapiens may even extinguish its own life spark along with that of the planet herself. Is a species really so intelligent which destroys the world on which it stands?

Perhaps Gaia, the living spirit of Mother Earth, will manage to keep a few life forms such as cockroaches and microbial life after humankind has done its damage and is long gone. However, Gaia is a middle aged planetary spirit; her world was in relative balance before Homo sapiens began his march of progress. She had created and was nurturing tens of millions of species. It is not yet her time to be a dying world. It is not yet time for the wondrous diversity of Earth's higher life forms to be extinguished

Here, then, are my 12 Future Predictions in these crazy, often dangerous, Change Times, which lead to a dimensional Change Point. Many of these predictions are alarming but the positive predictions, which are the last three, are our future hope; they are Our Future. .

Beyond chaos and change of the old world, is a new world which sings in a higher octave. Those humans who can survive in this higher electromagnetic frequency of consciousness, will perceive the new dawn of a healed and balanced planet.

    Prediction One:

Fracking, is the new "advanced"  technique of horizontal drilling for gas, which in fact, fractures the earth causing thousands of earthquakes, releases huge amounts of methane which kills fish, birds, and more, and destroys the water table, private wells and entire aquifers across the nation. All profits from fracking go to the giant natural gas industry.

Fracking will cause a terrible shortage pure, clean water. The shortage of consumable water is a major prediction regardless of the fracking process but with fracking covering some states already like cancer, the drinking water crisis grows much more critical and pressing.

Fracking is beyond government rules and regulations because former Vice President Cheney saw to it that this toxic, destructive method of drilling, is exempt from all oversight and regulation.

And so, for the United States in particular, the future lack of drinking water and fresh water for other aspects of civilization, will become a devasting crisis earlier than it would have without the upgrade in fracking practices.

    Prediction Two:

MRSA and CRKP infections will spread like wildfire, turning what is already a global threat into a global panic. Over-use of antibiotics is the reason for the rise of these superbugs. MRSA attacks people in hospitals but also in communal areas now such as schools and gyms. CRKP is a new superbug which causes mostly respiratory infections which are almost totally resistant to antibiotics. Together, these killed over 25,000 people in Europe last year but that number will seem small as these and other brand new superbugs defy antibiotics entirely.

    Prediction Three:

Contamination through radioactivity and the otherwise rapidly dwindling fish populations across the planet, will make many kinds of fish such as cod, which we take for granted as always there  for us, rare and almost impossible to find.  Also rapidly shrinking in availability due to pollution, radioactivity, and the huge human demand, will be oysters, scallops, lobsters,  and similar seafood. The Gulf of Mexico is more damaged already than we are told.

    Prediction Four:

The Pacific Ring of Fire will continue to go through a violently active period when both earthquakes and volcanoes continue to  cause enormous and frequent catastrophes which in the past, had been rare events. Of course devastating walls of water called tsunamis will also occur because these go hand in hand with severe earthquakes.

    Prediction Five:

The Arctic Ocean will soon be open water all winter long. In many areas of the planet, the last traces of formerly mighty glaciers will trickle their last drop, into the sea. The lack of glaciers also exacerbates the coming fresh water crisis. In the Antarctic, large chunks of the ice shelves will continue to break up; when the main Antarctic ice sheet is exposed to the Antarctic Ocean without the protection of the ice shelves, a huge meltdown may occur very quickly, raising ocean levels by many feet.

    Prediction Six:

There will be more nuclear accidents and/or serious damage to nuclear installations due to huge catastrophes. It is strange, but once a thought enters the mass human consciousness, we know more such events will come. We do create our own reality. One month after the Japanese Fukashima meltdowns, 3 workers in Nebraska were exposed to radioactivity at Cooper Nuclear Station.

    Prediction Seven:

Of course the radioactivity from Fukashima is greater and more damaging than governments will admit. Which brings us to our 7th prediction: The powers-that-be on Earth will continue trying to control the population of humans through disinformation and misinformation. To keep their power, they must keep the general population like a herd of sheep, wrapped up in materialism and the endless quest for "enough money."

Do not be mislead by readings of radioactivity from Fukashima which try to sound as though it is not a high reading; we must remember that nuclear meltdown and near-meltdown is a 24/7 process, and continues for thousands of years.

    Prediction Eight:

In the near future, more humans will break from the control mechanism of mass consumerism and gluttonous materialism, finally perceiving that this is the road to doomsday. This revolution will occur partially because of desperation over growing levels of radioactivity and what they mean to us and our posterity.

This huge change in human consciousness will also occur as resources such as food, water, and fuel become scarce when they were once so abundant.

Also contributing to this critical mass of enlightenment will be growing desperation regarding the extremes of the climate. There will be endless super-storms and super-torrents of rain and snow, and society will no longer be able to deal effectively with them. Other areas will undergo severe, long-lasting drought or what seems like permanent flooding. Water levels planetwide will continue rising.

    Prediction Nine:

There will be intentional Internet leaks of top secret government documents which prove conclusively that extraterrestrials and other-dimensionals have been flying in Earth skies and landing on Earth soil, for many years now. 1947 marks the beginning of a full scale mission on the part of these beings, to visit Earth and observe or help, during the Change Times.

The absolute proof that UFOs exist and that they are not from the Earth we know, begins to pave the way for actual face to face contact with humans by these aliens. In all likelihood, these events will not span a number of years, but only a few months as they play out against the backdrop of Earth's catastrophes. We could wake up tomorrow with the certain knowledge that UFO aliens landed in London yesterday and will be landing in our area today.

    Prediction Ten:

Landings by UFO occupants. Careful friendship will be extended to the mass of humanity. This will happen right as a dimensional shift occurs which we call the Change Point. From then on, there will be a different electromagnetic frequency for the human mind, due to a large fluctuation in Earth's geomagnetic field which is already beginning.

This change in the human EM frequency, will lead to the perception of a better world. Perception is reality, and those who perceive a better world, will find themselves on a healed, balanced planet - a new dawn for Earth.

Those who can adapt, will. Those who cannot achieve this enlightened state of mind, will continue in the old human frequency, a dimension which is slowly coming unraveled. Essentially, they will continue, on a world which is full of catastrophes and which will become not the hospitable world we have known.

Conclusion:

Enlightenment is up to each individual; no one chooses you - you choose yourself.

The Change Point could occur in 11 but of course we all think of 12 and those Mayan predictions. The Change Point could even come in 13 or 14, but we all feel its approach and know it is near.
